Naden Lodge Masset · Haida Gwaii Enquire
Fishing boats at a quiet, misty dock on the Haida Gwaii waterfront at dawn

The lodge

Cedar and quiet, over the harbour.

A post-and-beam lodge on the Masset waterfront with room for just ten guests — private rooms, a chef’s table, and a sundeck that looks straight out to the water.

The building

A cedar post-and-beam resort on the water

Naden Lodge overlooks the harbour from the Village of Masset, on Graham Island. Six private bedrooms — three with queen beds for couples — keep the guest list small and the service personal. Standard parties of eight get private rooms for half the group and comfortable shared doubles for the rest.

The rebuilt deck runs the length of the lodge, with proper seating and patio heaters for the long northern evenings. Inside there’s a spacious sitting room, a reading loft with a view, and — after a day on the water — an outdoor hot tub facing the harbour.

A comfortable lodge sitting room with sofas and warm timber furniture
A private guest bedroom with a wooden bed frame
A quiet reading corner with a bookshelf and desk in the lodge
A generous breakfast spread of eggs, waffles, fruit and coffee laid out on a table

At the table

Top-notch cuisine, cooked for the room

Meals are part of the all-inclusive American Plan — hearty breakfasts before an early tide, a packed lunch on the boat, and a proper dinner back at the lodge. With only ten guests, the kitchen cooks for the room, not a crowd.

And if you’d like tonight’s salmon on the plate, the chef will happily put your own catch to good use.
