Consistent salmon fishing
All ocean fishing on Haida Gwaii is fully guided. Your guide is a local who knows the tides, the bait and the bite — and will teach you downrigger fishing, trolling and cut-plugging as you go. Days are built around two tide changes, when the fish move and feed.
The lodge’s position is the whole story: right in the path of returning salmon bound for the rivers of BC, Vancouver Island and the US coast. Every day out, there’s a chance at a fifty-plus pounder.
